STP Operator (Contract) - Okhla Industrial Area, Delhi

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Operator to join our team in the Okhla Industrial Area. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems to meet environmental standards and regulatory requirements. We are looking for a dedicated professional who takes pride in maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Monitor and operate plant equipment, including pumps, blowers, motors, and filter systems, to ensure optimal functioning of the STP.
• Perform routine inspections of the plant and maintain daily logs of operational metrics, chemical dosages, and equipment performance.
• Conduct regular water quality sampling and testing to ensure treated water meets all applicable safety and environmental discharge standards.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery to ensure continuous operational uptime.
• Handle and manage chemical inventory required for the treatment process with strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and address mechanical or process-related issues promptly to prevent system failures.
• Collaborate with the site management team to update processes and implement improvements for energy efficiency and resource management.
• Ensure that all cleanliness and hygiene standards are strictly maintained within the plant premises at all times.

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant technical or engineering field.
• Experience: 1 to 6 years of proven experience in the operation and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in STP monitoring, equipment maintenance, and chemical dosing processes.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret technical data, perform water testing, and troubleshoot operational anomalies.
• Professional Conduct: Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow safety regulations, and maintain accurate administrative records.
• Reliability: Excellent punctuality and a commitment to maintaining site safety standards in the Okhla industrial sector.
