  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Utilities, Warehouse and Laboratory teams to integrate safety requirements into facility, process and equipment design.
  • Conduct and support safety risk assessments, applying the Hierarchy of Controls and promoting risk elimination and engineering controls from the design stage.
  • Support construction, equipment installation, commissioning and startup activities to ensure facilities and equipment are Safe to Build and Safe to Operate.
  • Ensure compliance with KORE, KOSMOS, ISO 45001 and applicable regulations.
  • Develop and support proactive safety programs based on BBS and HOP principles.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced English communication skills required.
  • Experience in Occupational Health & Safety within manufacturing, industrial or construction environments.
  • Experience supporting Greenfield, construction, major capital projects or manufacturing startup desirable.
  • Knowledge of Safety by Design, risk assessment methodologies and Hierarchy of Controls.
  • Experience in Contractor Safety Management, including training, field inspections, performance monitoring and corrective action follow-up.
  • Technical knowledge of Machine Safeguarding, LOTO, work at height, confined spaces, fire protection, industrial hygiene and chemical safety.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Experience supporting safety audits, incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors and equipment suppliers.

What We'll Do for You

  • Give you the opportunity to help build a world-class safety culture from the ground up.
  • Provide hands-on exposure to a major Greenfield manufacturing project, from engineering and construction through startup and operations.
