Role Description
The Social Media Strategist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across platforms to build brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Day-to-day tasks include planning content calendars, collaborating with designers and writers on creative assets, optimizing campaigns for reach and performance, and monitoring social media analytics. The Social Media Strategist will manage community interactions, respond to comments and messages in alignment with brand voice, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to support broader marketing initiatives. The role also involves staying updated on platform trends, competitor activity, and best practices to refine strategies and deliver continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) for planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns across major platforms.
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Public Relations skills to manage online communities, handle brand reputation, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to plan effective content calendars, align messaging with business goals, and ensure consistent brand storytelling.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools, reporting, and data interpretation to guide decision-making and performance improvements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Experience in digital marketing or social media roles, ideally within an agency or multi-brand environment, is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
