Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Littleton, CO is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and diverse team on a recurring multi-year, critical program within EMC2. You will be on the leading edge, solving problems, developing crucial design features, and contributing to our mission critical software within a multi-discipline team and dynamic Agile environment.
Applicants must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited college
- Interest in Systems Engineering field
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity in Systems Engineering life cycle process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic who can work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with software testing
- Familiarity with scripting such as Perl, Python, Powershell or similar languages
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and problem-solving issues with software systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
